PB&J Buckwheat Donuts
PB&J Healthy Buckwheat Donuts
Gluten free & vegan donuts made with buckwheat flour, covered in homemade strawberry chia jam and peanut butter!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Buckwheat Flour
- 1/4 cup Coconut or Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Mushed Banana
- 1/2 cup Nut milk
- 1/2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar Or juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200c/400f
- Combine flour, sugar & baking soda
- In another bowl combined mashed banana, milk & vinegar (homemade vegan buttermilk!)
- Combine dry ingredients into wet until well mixed
- Grease donut (or muffin) pan
- Fill each tin 3/4 full
- Bake for 15-20 minutes
- Allow to fully cool before topping with *strawberry chia jam, peanut butter and/or vanilla icing glaze
