Turmeric Ginger Protein Balls

I feel I consume so much turmeric on a daily basis that I have a spatula permanently stained a slight yellow. So hey, why not some turmeric ginger protein balls! Turmeric is a flowering plant of the ginger family. Turmeric is known for a wild variety of health reasons, but primarily it is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Ginger is great for digestion. So together these pair to make a healthful little treat perfect for any time of day! These turmeric ginger protein balls are refined sugar-free, sweetened only with maple syrup. I found this lovely syrup out of Stevens Point, WI, *see notes for more info! Looking for more things to do with your bottle of powdered turmeric? Try my turmeric soup for something savory. Or my Golden Milk Overnight oats for a quick brekky!
